What is water tube boiler?

A water tube boiler is one type of Boiler in which water flows through the tubes and hot gases pass over the tubes to heat the water.

When hot gases pass over the tube, heat transfers from the hot gases to water inside the tubes.

The water tube Boiler generates high-pressure steam. hence this type of boiler is widely used for power generation.

These boilers are compact in size and also it starts steam generation faster after starting.
